Program Description:
ISEP Direct Tokyo
  • Study in Kawagoe, a charming and traditional prefecture of Tokyo and an area known for its historic Edo period atmosphere and cultural richness.
  • As the capital of the third largest economy in the world, Tokyo is an ideal location to take courses in English in business and international relations with other students from over 50 countries around the world.
  • Join a campus group to connect with the local student community – from sports to a club devoted to eating Udon – there's a little something for everyone to enjoy at TIU!
  • Enjoy the modern conveniences of Tokyo by taking a weekend trip to the countryside on a bullet train or digging into conveyor belt sushi with your new group of international friends.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, the area around TIU is known for its boutiques, restaurants, and traditional craft stores located in 17-19th century buildings.

What We Love About TIU
We love that there are approximately 1,300 international students at TIU each semester! To celebrate the truly global atmosphere of TIU and Tokyo, an International Festival is held each year for students to enjoy food, booths, and performances. The festival is a great opportunity to learn about other cultures and meet new friends in the process.
