PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Experience the world-renowned culture of Tokyo while studying in the bustling Ikebukuro neighborhood, in the heart of Japan's capital city, with easy access to other iconic neighborhoods via Tokyo’s state-of-the-art public transportation system.
• As the capital of the third largest economy in the world, Tokyo is an ideal location to take courses in English in business and international relations alongside students from over 50 countries.  
• Join a campus group to connect with the local student community – from sports to a club devoted to eating Udon – there's a little something for everyone to enjoy at TIU! 
• Enjoy the modern conveniences of Tokyo by taking a weekend trip to the countryside on a bullet train or digging into conveyor belt sushi with your new group of international friends.

We love that TIU hosts a vibrant community of 1,300 international students each semester and offers meaningful ways for you to connect. You’ll feel welcomed from the start of the program by being paired with a Peer Assistant to serve as your buddy to plan activities for you to do together throughout the semester.
